Safety Advisor Level II

To support the growth of the company, they are looking for a Safety Advisor Level II.

Functieomschrijving

In complete independence, you will be responsible for carrying out all of the tasks assigned to the position:

  • Assist the employer in the application of the measures contained in the welfare code;
  • Advise the employer, the hierarchy and the employees in matters of safety and well-being at work

Other tasks include:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the annual safety plan
  • Participate in the identification of hazards and help the line management (by the implementation of practical tools) to carry out risk analyses
  • Participate and advise on the choice of safety equipment
  • Participate in the company's well-being policy and limit psychosocial risks
  • Manage the organization and hygiene of the workplaces
  • Drive the development of prevention procedures and contingency plans
  • Conduct site visits
  • Facilitate awareness tool-box sessions
  • Master the ISO45001 standard and actively participate in the ISO45001 safety management system
  • Share your knowledge and expertise within the organization. Coach and/or train where necessary.
Functie-eisen
  • Experience in the construction sector is a big plus.
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in a function related to safety and well-being
  • You are a certified Level II Safety consultant (or are in the process of obtaining the certificate)
  • Knowledge or mastery of the ISO45001 standard is also a plus 
  • You are passionate about renewable energy and sustainable development.
  • You have a strong sense of organization and customer satisfaction (internal and external) is one of your priorities;
  • You are methodical, rigorous, flexible and proactive;
  • You have a good knowledge of the Office suite, experience working with an ERP would be appreciated
  • You are able to work independently but also in a team;
  • You have excellent coaching skills and can easily influence others towards a desired result
  • French is the working language. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
