Field Service Engineer

As the Field Service Engineer you are responsible for the continuous follow-up of the water treatment at our industrial customers. Your mission is to guarantee current customers a quality service where you perform maintenance, recommend changes, report and communicate with customer representatives about the performance of the treatment in accordance with the commercial agreement.

Function description

  • The management of service activities, where you perform chemical tests at various industrial customers.

  • Data processing of analyses and correct reporting of these to customers via verbal and written recommendations.

  • First line troubleshooting for applications in the field of cooling, boiler, process and wastewater treatment in industry.

  • Carry out technical tasks, from starting up new equipment and commissioning it, to troubleshooting and managing minor repairs, maintenance and minor assembly work, if necessary.

  • Find quick solutions for our customers, which are still sustainable in nature.

  • Maintain customer relationships and actively work on customer satisfaction through your communication, quality and follow-up of NPS.

  • Take on a pioneering role with regard to safety and actively propagate this, both within the organization and with our customers. You will do this by meeting your annual EHS goals, completing required EHS training, and reporting all work-related incidents and near misses to your supervisor and EHS manager.

  • Establish contacts with other departments in able to meet the needs of our customers efficiently and with the necessary teamwork.

Job requirements
  • You are hands-on and have a chemical background and technical expertise.

  • Through your service and customer focus, you ensure satisfied customers and sustainable collaborations

  • Working digitally and finding your way around reporting programs is no problem for you.

  • You work in a structured and orderly manner, and guarantee accurate reporting skills.

  • As a team player, you are happy to come to the aid of your colleagues.

  • You are a problem-solver and dare to think out-of-the-box, always taking into account quality and safety rules.

  • You have a bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences. Chemical background is required.

  • Experience in water treatment is a plus, but not a requirement.

  • You are fluent, both oral and written, in English and Dutch.

Offer

A full-time minimum 6 month assignment in a very varied job where you work at different locations, with customers in your assigned region with the possibility for prolongation.
