Technical Service Manager (Permanent) @ Dolium

Our client, Dolium, is a family SME active mainly in the Brewery Sector providing innovative and sustainable solutions in packaging. With more than 25 years of R&D and Product Development experience, the Company is currently active in all major markets of the world, collaborating with over 30 distributors.

To support its strong growth, Dolium is now looking for a Technical Service Manager on a permanent basis.

Function description

As the Technical Service Manager you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the sales team with technical questions with regards to dispensing of draft beer, the filling & sometimes brewing

• Supporting the CTO with product development initiatives based on market feedback

You will deliver support to:


  • Assist breweries (existing / new customers) with their dispensing at the point of sales and filling questions
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Train the support staff on the new technologies
  • Maintain and develop good long term relationship with the customers through your technical assistance


  • Deliver Train-the-trainer sessions for local support staff
  • Support in technical matters and technical marketing brochures
  • Support fairs and events

Product development


  • Follow the market developments on draught systems and make recommendations on product development.
  • Stay up to date with the recycling/sustainable initiatives


  • Stay up to date with dispensing & filling equipment & make recommendations on product evolutions
  • Assist in new product development and enhancements. Within 3 years, you will have the opportunity to become the Product Development Director.

Job requirements
  • Passionate about the Beer and Beverages Industry!
  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline but with a strong technical experience
  • Proven experience in dispensing at the bar; filling and brewing are a plus
  • Experience with kegs is a big plus (dispensing at point of sales and filling at the Brewery)
  • Excellent knowledge of quality control principles in the brewing business
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Passionate and experienced about and in training
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with strong analytical skills
  • You are requested to work from the Antwerp Office for a minimum of 1 day per week, the other days you can work remotely
  • Ready to travel at least 35%, including intercontinental travel
  • English is a must. Knowledge of German, French or Dutch would be ideal.
