Quality Manager

Our Client produces printed packaging films for food and non-food applications. They are currently looking for a Quality Manager a.i.

Function description
  • Review, improve and document the main processes in the company.
  • Installing KPIs for adherence to processes, allowing monitoring operational excellence of the company.
  • Monitoring of manufacturing key processes.
  • Report operations performance with benchmarks to past and future performance.
  • Follow up and solve quality problems reported by clients and/or other stakeholders and take preventive action to avoid similar issues in the future.
  • Support purchase and manufacturing in the quality management of suppliers. Meet with suppliers and partners as needed in order to set up quality improvement programs or address quality issues/critical situations.
  • Strive towards a common process of quality management
  • As project manager, lead projects as selected by the General Manager.
  • Training and coaching of manufacturing staff (+/- 60p) on new regulations and quality standards
  • Drive quality inspections and improvement trajectories
Job requirements
  • Master Degree in Engineering, preferably in (Bio-)Chemical Engineering.
  • 7 years minimum experience as Quality Manager in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Good insight into organizational processes.
  • Experience in the Plastics industry is a big plus.
  • Proven experience with ISO Standards (9001, ..) and other regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing audits.
  • Strategic thinker that can inspire people with their ideas and create a motivating workplace to ensure the Quality vision.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience.
  • You speak and write Dutch fluently. English and French are considered a plus.

A 6 months Interim Management assignment.

Schedule: 2 - 3 days per week (part-time).

Organizational and departmental definition

This role reports to the General Manager and has no direct reports.
