We are looking for those profiles who have a profound experience in leading a Manufacturing department in larger organizations. The domains of HSE, Quality, Production, Engineering etc. hold no secrets for you.

As a strong and respectful people manager you have a sound experience in guiding any of the above mentioned departments. A close collaboration with other department heads and stakeholders is adamant.

It is considered a plus to have an experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma ..

You are used to reporting on KPIs.

You also have a solid experience in collaborating with union representatives through constructive communication.

Responsibilities:

• Carry end responsibility for all operational activities (manufacturing and supply chain) and corresponding budgets

• Define Operations Strategy and implement business plan to reach all strategic targets

• Coordinate between all operations units and key stakeholders to guarantee stability, profitability, quality and safety processes

• Responsible for achieving safety, quality, logistics, supply chain and productivity objectives

• Implement process improvements via transformation or change trajectories

• Master or Bachelor Degree in any discipline

• 10 years minimum of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

• 10 years minimum of experience as Operations Manager, Site Manager, Plant Manager, …

• Experienced people manager who can motivate and coach a team to peak performance

• Strong interpersonal skills combined with strong analytical skills

• Change management experience

• Sound knowledge of either of these: Lean principles, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Sig Sigma, TQM, …

• You speak English fluently as well as either Dutch or French
