Business Development Manager

Our Client is a collaborative established SaaS platform that helps teams in Marketing, IT, Web, Digital, Purchasing, and many other departments, to ensure effective and qualitative data management, from the product database through to all communication operations and all online and offline publications. What sets them apart is the fact that they combine PIM (Product Information Management, knowing that some of clients might have up over 1 million SKU), DAM (Digital Asset Management) and Publishing tools, put at the service of the clients. Those clients are usually companies that offer their services and/or products via a network of branches (bricks) as well as online (clicks).

With our Client's help, companies can enhance their multi-channel communication, reduce complexity, increase the level of quality and lower costs, whilst improving agility and speed of their communication.

They are now in a scale up phase and In order to achieve the 3-year business plan, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.

  • Understands customer needs and knows how our services can provide the right solutions.
  • Enjoys networking and developing new prospects.
  • Can spot opportunities with potential customers and knows which leads are the right ones for the company.
  • Works in a structured and organized way with a smooth, open personality.
  • Knows how to maintain long-term customer relations: both in terms of customer satisfaction with current projects and by being proactive towards potential new projects.
  • Can work independently, but also likes to be part of a team. You can easily switch between departments and work together with all stakeholders

  • Strong 'hunter' skills with the ability to get meetings as middle and senior management level of the company's target group.  This must be coupled with a thorough knowledge of the company's other team members in such a way that you can assign the right colleagues to each project.at the right moment
  • An independent mindset, ready to take action and fully articulate and execute the business development plans in close collaboration with the COO and CEO.
  • Experience with or knowledge of SaaS, (digital) marketing and affinity for IT solutions are a real plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azur is a bonus!
  • Professional level of both French and Dutch, and preferably English as well

This is a longer term, full-time assignment for which we are looking for a self-employed sales driven manager who will invoice through his or her management company, but a contract as an employee with the company is also possible.
