As a hands-on, experienced financial manager with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent people/change management skills, you will be responsible for developing a strong team and performant processes to provide accurate financial information at all levels of the business.  

You will be responsible for the further accurate implementation of their accounting software package, Exact Globe, and will be reporting directly to the CEO. You work in close collaboration with the recently hired Accounting Manager, ensuring that you are able to back up each other whenever needed.

• Ensuring the financial integrity of the company through compliance with financial laws and regulations, but also the group’s standards
• Managing, coordinating and improving/automating the financial processes and tools
• Leading the financial administration including accounting, controlling, credit limits, billing, payments and tax returns
• Implement cost and management accounting through the implementation of a business controller function 
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports and forecasts for the management team, as well as for the local operational sites
• Coordinate and manage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
• Preparing financial statements and corporate taxes
• Train, coach and supervise the finance team (currently 5 employees, of which 2 only recently joined the company), ensuring versatility in the different roles of the finance team, ensuring they are able to back up each other
• Provide training, support and guidance to employees in using the existing accounting tool

• Driven individual with a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. 
• At least 10 years of experience as Finance Manager.  Having worked for a company with a significant number of operational sites (such as retailers, banks, facility management services…) is a plus 
• Proven experience in the implementation of accounting tools.  Experience with Exact Globe, the company's accounting software, is a strong plus
• Experience integrating tools with accounting software via API and other links is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Dispose of sufficient operational accounting experience and expertise to back up the Accounting Manager during absences  
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong communication skills for effective communication with both team members as well as internal stakeholders at various levels.
• Team player with leadership skills to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent command of Dutch, French and English.
