Safety Advisor Level II

For our Client, a Belgian family-owned company established about 170 years ago, with 75 employees today we are looking for a Safety Advisor Level II.

The client specializes in the production of high-quality sugar specialties for the international market. 

Function description

As a Prevention Advisor Level 2, the candidate will play a key role in ensuring and strengthening the company’s safety and well-being policy. The Prevention Advisor will work closely with management, supervisors, and colleagues to guarantee a safe and healthy working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and advise management in developing and implementing prevention and well-being policies.

  • Conduct risk analyses and draw up action plans.

  • Monitor legislation on workplace well-being and translate it into practice.

  • Organize internal training sessions and awareness campaigns on safety and well-being.

  • Contribute to drafting and updating procedures and instructions.

  • Participate in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW).

Job requirements
  • Holds a Prevention Advisor Level 2 diploma.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and experience in well-being and safety policies.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to motivate others.
  • Works in a structured, accurate, and proactive way.
  • Experience in a production environment is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of French; other languages are a plus.
  • Must have: Ability to be on site for emergencies within a 30 minute time frame.
Offer
  • A part-time Interim Management assignment for a duration of approximately 3 months.

  • Work schedule: 2-3 days per week
