Transformation Officer

Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Transformation Officer to lead a business and SAP implementation within a food production environment consisting of two manufacturing sites, each with its own product range and specialization.  You will play a crucial role to successfully run the SAP implementation and adapt the business processes within the plants. In doing so, you will work closely with various teams and stakeholders.

 

Function description

Key responsibilities as Transformation Officer:

  • SAP implementation (ICT & Processes): you follow the Transformation Officer training plan and are responsible for the subsequent training of the plant management team. You participate in and approve different phases of the project: conceptual design, build and data migration, testing, end-user training, go-live and hyper care Business Transformation

  • You train the plant management team to prepare them for the changes and support them in the implementation. Together with the management team, you assess the maturity (people and process) within the plant and adjust the business processes where necessary to make the SAP implementation and transformation run smoothly. You set up the Business Realization Management (BRM) and define priorities to effectively execute the transformation projects.
  • Finally, you follow up the plan and ensure the execution of the transformation projects, regularly reviewing progress and making adjustments where necessary.
Job requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in operations/supply chain management and transformation projects.
  • Proven experience in a food & beverages manufacturing environment is required.  Experience working in a larger matrix organization is a plus.
  • Excellent planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with MRP, ERP and/or MES implementations is a key requirement.  Experience with SAP is a strong plus. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: you can easily engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to understand their needs, requirements and expectations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French.  English proficiency at professional level. 
Offer

This is a 18-24 month full-time challenging assignment. There is a distinct possibility that this assignment might be further extended in time.

Organizational and departmental definition

You will report to the Division Manager in charge of the 2 production sites directly, as well as to the Transformation Steerco, which has been specifically set up for the transition to the new ERP.
