Continuous Improvement Expert

Our Client, active High-End Industrial Printing (Automotive Sector), is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Continuous Improvement Expert to lead and coordinate operational excellence initiatives across their production, quality, and support departments. You will report to the Managing Partner of the company.

Operating in a high-mix, low-volume environment supplying to Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive clients, the role is crucial in driving lean transformation, optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and sustaining zero-defect culture in line with the automotive quality standards.

  • Identify, lead, and support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and implement standard work and visual management tools.
  • Lead Kaizen events, workshops, and cross-functional problem-solving sessions focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and lead time optimization.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement training programs for operators, team leaders, and management. 
  • Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of operational excellence, proactive problem solving, and accountability.
  • Support the Quality Department in non-conformity reduction, CAPA processes, and process capability analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure robust process design and risk mitigation.
  • Work with external auditors, suppliers, and customers to ensure compliance with automotive quality and traceability standards.
exigences de l'emploi
  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Min. 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or high-precision industries.
  • Proven track record in working with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality systems (ISO 9001, etc).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to coach and influence teams at all levels.
  • Fluent in French – Good knowledge of Dutch - English is considered a plus.
