As Sales Manager, you are the driving force behind the commercial growth of the company. You are responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of 10 regional managers in Belgium and Luxembourg. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach to further strengthen our market position in the HVAC and refrigeration sector, with a special focus on air conditioning and heating installers. You are not only a people manager, but also a crucial sparring partner for the management and the architect of our future sales strategy.
  •  Lead, motivate and develop the sales team (approx. 10 FTE) to exceed individual and team targets.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven sales strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Actively manage and optimize the sales pipeline via our CRM system.
  • Implement change management initiatives to improve processes and performance.
  • Act as a strategic sounding board for the Managing Director and the management team.
  • Analyze market developments and competition to identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Personally coach salespeople in the field and support them in complex deals.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and clear reporting to the management.
  • At least 5-10 years of commercial experience in a B2B environment, including at least 3-5 years in a managerial role (e.g. Sales Manager, Team Lead, Commercial Director).
  • Experience within a technical sector or an affinity with technology is a must. Knowledge of the HVAC, installation or construction sector is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a geographically dispersed team and managing both junior and senior profiles.
  • Proven success in achieving revenue growth, implementing change and building a structured sales process.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent through experience.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French, with a good knowledge of English.
Our Client, located in Antwerp Province, is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the Regional Sales Team (approx. 10 people) and who can act as a strategic sparring partner for the Managing Director in order to achieve the growth ambitions of the company.
A long term fulltime assignment where you can really drive the growth and ambitions of the company in tandem with the Managing Director.  Our client's preference is to have the Sales Manager on their payroll, but invoicing via a management company is an option, depending on having a perfect fit with the company's requirements for this role.
