As a Sr Planning Manager, you are the key figure between the engineering team, the architect, all suppliers & contractors (Civil, Process, Piping, Electrical, etc.), the start-up team (SUM), and all relevant stakeholders in the existing factory, where two production lines will remain operational during the project. the site and the project team.  (how they are coordinated and interdependent) 

Key activities in this role: 

• You will take over an existing project plan in Primavera OPC and refine it with new long-term milestones between the eight sub-projects
• You will coordinate the medium-to-long-term phases that will occur in the next two to three months based on critical path thinking, making sure all stakeholders are informed accurately, take responsibility for achieving the activities on the critical path and take corrective action when necessary
• Integrating late scope changes, vendor constraints, and punch list impacts 
• Aligning commissioning activities with construction and startup teams 
• Preparing 2-week and 4-week look-ahead schedules for field execution with construction manager
• Monitoring daily progress and identifying bottlenecks on medium and long term, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned in terms of execution
• Supporting system handovers and readiness reviews 
• Generating progress reports, S-curves, and critical path analyses 
• Contributing to KPI reporting and risk mitigation strategies 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (civil) engineering or equivalent through experience.
• Senior management skills, involving planning and coordinating complex (civil) engineering projects
• Strong background (preferably 10+ years) in project planning, the implementation and use of project planning tools, including Oracle's Primavera P6, as well as insight into the practical feasibility of the planned (inter)actions
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Hands-on, autonomous, and solution-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch. English and French are a plus.
